These tools are designed to improve your workflow in Ableton Live by letting you control or toggle multiple device/plugin parameters across all tracks in all device/plugin instances at once.

A few use-cases:

Compare different device/plugin settings:

Say you’re using a tape emulation plugin on all tracks and want to compare how different IPS settings sound. Select the plugin and its IPS parameter, set two values (e.g., 7.5 and 30), and toggle between them across your Live Set with one click.

Optimize CPU usage by turning on the Oversampling/HQ mode for all devices:

Use the toggles to turn Oversampling off for all instances of a plugin when you don’t need it, and back on when rendering or exporting.

Bypass every plugin/device in your LiveSet with just one click using the "Bypass Everything" device.
Collapse/Expand all devices in the DeviceView across all tracks.

And there’s a lot more you can achieve with these devices.

This device lets you adjust up to 8 parameters across all matching device/plugin instances in your Live set, within a defined range.

These devices let you toggle any Device/Plugin parametes across all your tracks between two values. (In all Device/Plugin instances.)

Global Bypass One

Bypass/enable All instance of the selected Plugin/Device across all tracks

Global Bypass 8 & Extra 8

Bypass/enable all the selected Plugin/device instances across all tracks.
Assign it to as many things as you need by expanding it with the Extra 8 devices.

Place the device / devices in your Ableton Live User Library.
Default User Library locations:
- Windows: \USERS\[USERNAME]\DOCUMENTS\ABLETON\USER LIBRARY
- Mac: MACINTOSH HD/USERS/[USERNAME]/MUSIC/ABLETON/USER LIBRARY
Live needs to analyze your User Library after adding devices. This process may take some time. In the meantime, you can drag and drop the devices from your User Library onto your tracks.
After Live found them you'll be able to access them from Live's Browser.
