Add kilohearts compactor please !!

Would be very handy havig compactor wrapped too.

Hey,

Sadly those plugins that are not included are not compatible with the wrapper format. : (

The main issue for most of them is that there are usually a few parameters inside them that are not accessible from Max. (They're not exposed to automation, and there's no way to observe/store their values.)

If I would create a wrapper out of them I wouldn't be able to store the missing parameters values (not even if you would change them via the floating GUI)
So next time when you would reload the Live Set where you used the wrapper, those parameters would reset to their default values.

And that would make the whole concept pretty much useless : /

It's possible that some of the missing plugins will get an update in the future, and the devs for them start to expose those missing parameters, but I only see the chance for that for only a few plugins. : ( (And who knows if they'll actually release an update like that or not...)

All the wrappers are 🔥.make my work flow os more time efficient and makes effects so much quicker to access. this review is for NI but Arturia, Valhalla, soundtoys......they are all good!

Work beautifully

These wrappers really work well and make music production that bit easier and smoother. I love the fact that these ElisabethHomeland devices now automatically check for updates - once your setup gets to a certain level of complexity it can be hard to keep track of updates so this new automatic check is very welcome!

Tweak it from Push

Every parameter is carefully organized into meaningful pages on Push.So you can find and tweak everything.

Zero Latency when Bypassed!

When you bypass the devices their latency will always drop to 0!

This is not possible with the original VST3/AU plugins that are not wrapped into a MaxForLive device. They’ll always keep their latency even if they’re bypassed.

First make sure you've installed the original plugins!

Then you can put these devices into your user library, basically anywhere.

 

Default location of the User Library:

When you install Live for the first time, the User Library is created at this location:

Windows: \Users\[username]\Documents\Ableton\User Library

Mac: Macintosh HD/Users/[username]/Music/Ableton/User Library

 

Please note that Live has to analise your user library after you put your devices in there... It could take a while.
For the time being, you can just drag and drop these devices on your track from your user library. until Live analyses your folders.

Always use the latest plugin versions of the plugins. ( I will follow every update with the wrappers.)

 

Version 2.5 - 2025.07.08.

  • Every Device:
    In Live 12.2 and later, floating plugin windows now stay on top of the Live window—just like when using standard VST3 or AU plugins.
    (Note: This feature isn’t available in Live 10 or 11, as it relies on a change introduced in Max 9.)
