Duplicate Without clips is a MaxForLive device (For Ableton Live) that allows you to duplicate any track/tracks (and even whole group tracks) without any of their clips.
Just insert the device into any track in your Live Set.
Map a MIDI control or keyboard shortcut (for example, Option + D) to the Duplicate button. Now, simply select one or more tracks and press your shortcut.
The device will duplicate the selected tracks without copying any clips.

Live 12.4.3 changed the timing of when some parameters output their values during Max for Live device initialization. This caused the device to create an unnecessary Undo history step immediately after being loaded into a Live Set. This update fixes the issue.
