These maxforlive plugin wrappers have the original plugins loaded inside them, with a recreated user interface you can see in Device view.

FEATURES:

  • You can easily access any parameter without opening the GUI ( but you can still open it if you want to. : ) ).

  • When you bypass the devices their latency will always drop to 0!
    This is not possible with the original VST3/AU plugins that are not wrapped into a MaxForLive device. They’ll always keep their latency even if they’re bypassed.(This feature is suited for recording situations, not Live performances! read more about it below!)

Amazing time saver

I love working in Ableton, but using external effects sometimes feels like a chore since they are hidden away in an external window. These wrappers are a great way to make your external plugins feel more "at home" in Ableton. The Arturia effects have been replicated very closely visually, so it really feels like a native Ableton device. Great work!

The wrappers are a major workflow improvement

Handsdown a seamless implementation of combining vst control in an ableton like style. Workflow improvements are priceless

Nearly perfect.

It would be even better if the gain reduction meter would indicate the compression amount. Even if the readings would not be a perfect match it would still be amazing. But apart from the metering there is no need to open the plugin gui.

Great value & Very Useful

Extremely well made, easy to setup and if you like using Ableton’s modulations, makes the workflow more fluid. Highly recommend this package!

This is probably my favorite one

The Arturia FX suite has replaced some of my most used vintage emulation plugins (some even by UAD) because of the convenience but having the wrapper and panels open in the rack view in Ableton makes the workflow go so much more smoothly. It FEELS like an ableton device

What is a Wrapper?

A Wrapper is a a MaxForLive device that contains the original plugin, with the complete recreation of it's GUI

It let you interact with the plugin directly from Live's Device view without the need to open the Floating GUI

Tweak it from Push

Every parameter is carefully organized into meaningful pages on Push.So you can find and tweak everything.

Zero Latency when Bypassed!

When you bypass the devices their latency will always drop to 0!

This is not possible with the original VST3/AU plugins that are not wrapped into a MaxForLive device. They’ll always keep their latency even if they’re bypassed.

First make sure you've installed the original plugins!

Then you can put these devices into your user library, basically anywhere.

 

Default location of the User Library:

When you install Live for the first time, the User Library is created at this location:

Windows: \Users\[username]\Documents\Ableton\User Library

Mac: Macintosh HD/Users/[username]/Music/Ableton/User Library

 

Please note that Live has to analise your user library after you put your devices in there... It could take a while.
For the time being, you can just drag and drop these devices on your track from your user library. until Live analyses your folders.

Always use the latest plugin versions of the plugins. ( I will follow every update with the wrappers.)
