One thing to note:
For Live devices and Max for Live device parameters, it’s enough to select a parameter, and TouchMe will automatically be able to control it.
For plug-in parameters, you have to select the plug-in (in Device View) and move the parameter a bit (just change its value slightly with your mouse):
