BounceSelection ReleaseNotes

Version 1.4 - 2024.03.03.

  • Bounce Selection now works both in Live 10, 11, and 12.
  • You can now drop a .adg file into the device, and once it finished bouncing down the new clip it'll load the selected device chain into the new track.
  • The new track created by the device will be named/colored as the source track with an additional [Bounce] in its name.
  • If both the Clip view and Device view were closed before engaging the device (and you don't load a .adg file into the new track with the device) one Bounce Selection finished it'll close the Clip/Device view.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the device to route audio from a wrong track if there were other tracks in the live set with the same name as the source track.
  • fixed an issue that prevented the device to delete the new clips tail in some cases.
  • In Real time mode Bounce Selection now deletes the helper device from the new track even if you interrupt/stop the recording manually.
  • Small UI changes
  • Updated documentation.

Version 1.3 - 2024.02.25.

  • Added Routing options for the device:
You can now select how the device should route the audio from the source track into the new clip: Pre FX, Post FX, Post Mixer.

  • Added Real Time Render mode option for the device:
If your source track includes external effects or instruments, you can enable this option to render the new clip in real time instead of the default offline rendering. (If you use the AHK mode on Windows, there's a new AHK file for the RealTime rendering.)
  • Rearranged UI
  • Updated documentation.
  • Some small UI related fixes for the drop-boxes.

Version 1.2 - 2024.02.20.

  • Added another safeguard to prevent engaging the Bounce button if the track is selected where you have the Bounce Selection device.

  • For better compatibility: On Windows you can now choose between 4 methods the device can use to create the new Bounced audio clip:
    Menu, Shortcut, Language, AHK.
For most people all of them should work just fine, but if you experience any issues you can try them to see which one works for you the best.
